It is long tradition of Ladies Hostel to perform “Satyanarayan Pooja” on 26th January every year.
In 2011 the golden jubilee of Ladies hostel was celebrated. A get together of Alumni was arranged and it received a good response. It was noted that during the “Satyanarayan Pooja ” the Idol of Lord Balkrishna is either brought by the priest or it is taken from the Rector’s Devghar. So on 12th October 2016 , some past students of Ladies Hostel handed over a Silver Idol of Lord Balkrishna to the rector .
The Major contribution came from Mrs. Harshada Jogalekar- Prabhudesai, Mrs. Sadhana Joshi-Bodas, Mrs. Madhuri Shendye- Pathak and Mrs. Varsha Namjoshi-Divekar . The idol will be used for Gokulashtami function and Satyanarayan Pooja.
