OBJECTIVES
To study language skills and literature in Sanskrit.
To achieve personality Development through various activities related to the subject.
To inculcate among the students values of Indian Culture inherent in the old texts.
To strive for mass participation in the acquisition of Sanskrit language.

Program Outcomes
PO 1. Attainment of Knowledge - Knowledge of the scope of the history of Sanskrit Language and Literature and Understanding the relevance to the modern age.
PO 2. Critical and Logical thinking – Acquire the ability for critical and logical thinking to analyze the situations around and to recognize the problems. Develop the ability to solve the problems from different perspectives.
PO 3. Effective Communication - Speak, read, write and listen clearly in person and through electronic media in Sanskrit and other languages.
PO 4. Social Communication – Express oneself lucidly to create good interpersonal rapport in personal and professional life. Elicit views of others, conduct meaningful discussions, mediate disagreements and help reach conclusions in group settings
PO 5. Enlightened and Effective Citizenship – Cultivate enlightened citizenship for understanding society for peace and prosperity of nation. Develop the decision making aptitude for the benefit of nation and the entire world.
